IPL 2018: Ravi Shastri has ‘Biggest Beast’ Message for all the Viewers

Former India cricketer and current Team India head coach, Ravi Shastri has a simple yet stunning message for all the Indian Premier League (IPL) fans.

Meanwhile, the biggest domestic professional league Twenty20 tournament will start from April 7 (Saturday) at the Wankhede Stadium. Defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) will square off against resurrected Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

However, Shastri, who donned the commentator’s hat over the last 10 years, won’t adorn the commentator role anymore in this season.

This is because he is not eligible to take up any other job during his tenure as the Indian coach.

Shastri has had the opportunity to cover Indian cricket in its every ups and downs.

The veteran seemed excited as the cricket’s biggest T20 carnival enter’s into its second decade. Shastri has been the impeccable voice in Indian cricket and undoubtedly one of the best to have followed the game from close quarters.

In his recent tweet, Shastri urges the entire country to get ready to embrace the exciting tournament. He also reckons this league as the biggest beast of all.

The 55-year-old Mumbaikar, Shastri featured in 150 One-day Internationals and 80 Test for India between 1981 and 1992. He scored 3,108 runs in the 50-over format besides 3,830 runs in 121 Test innings. He bagged 280 scalps across his international career.

Get ready to rock, India. The biggest beast of them all has entered your bedrooms #IPL,“ Ravi Shastri tweeted.

Meanwhile, BCCI has included Decision Review System (DRS) for the first time in the tournament. This will add more excitement to the game and make it enthralling for the fans.
