5. Glenn Maxwell – 15 boundaries vs CSK

The ‘Big Show’ features on the list, and is placed at the fifth position on the leaderboard, with his tally of 15 boundaries vs Chennai Super Kings at Abu Dhabi in the season of 2014.
Maxi’s 95 came off just 43 balls. The 2014 edition belonged to Maxwell and co. as they fell heart-breakingly close to clinching their maiden IPL title.
4. Ajinkya Rahane – 16 boundaries vs KXIP

Rahane’s effort against KXIP during the 2012 edition of the tournament stands out in the tally of the number of boundaries hit during a single outing.
The Royals’ opener scored a brisk 98 off 66 deliveries, which consisted of as many as 16 hits to the fence.
3. Michael Lumb – 16 boundaries vs KXIP

The fierce southpaw from England marked his presence in IPL with his 83-run knock against KXIP in the 2010 edition of the tournament.
Lumb scored 16 boundaries during his knock, with a boundary percentage of 77 at RR’s fortress at Sawai Maan Singh Stadium, Jaipur.
2. Paul Valthaty – 19 boundaries vs CSK

Often considered as a typical case of one season wonder, Paul Valthaty lit up the 2011 edition of India’s premier T20 tournament with his 120 against CSK.
Valthaty smashed a whopping 19 boundaries in the inning which remains a record for the most number of fours hit during a single outing
1. AB de Villiers – 19 boundaries vs MI

The joint-topper in the aforementioned list is none other than Mr. 360. During his sensational knock at the Wankhede Stadium against Mumbai Indians, AB amassed a mindblowing 19 fours in his inning.
AB lit up the Wankhede with his 360 vision strokeplay to post a monumental 133 off 59 deliveries. He came back five months later and scored a thunderous 119 off 61 balls in South African colours at the same ground.
