4. David Warner – Sunrisers Hyderabad (160 sixes)
One of the major loss in this year’s IPL is the absence of SRH’s talismanic captain and opener, David Warner, who struck 160 hits over the fence in his IPL career in just 114 games played.
Warner went on to become a force to reckon with in International cricket with his stint with the Delhi Daredevils.
SRH captaincy enabled Warner to excel under added pressure as he ended up with the Orange Cap twice in the last three years. He was only second to VK’s tally of 973 runs in the 2016 edition, where he himself amassed a whopping 848 runs, a record in itself.
