This year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) saw another last-over thriller as Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) thump defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) by one wicket.

Meanwhile, the Sunrisers banked on youngster Deepak Hooda (32*) to pull things off in their favour. However, it was the home team that dominated the game until the 18th over, when big-hitting batter Yusuf Pathan departed.

Hyderabad lost four back-to-back wickets, as Mumbai took the control of the game. However, it was Hooda’s calm and composure that helped SRH make two out of two in the ongoing eleventh edition of the league.

Previously, Mumbai Indians managed to post a moderate 147 runs on the board after a brilliant bowling effort from Hyderabad. Some late blows from Kieron Pollard ensured that they get closer to 150.
