The 23rd match of the Indian Premier League turned out to be a low-scoring thriller between visitors Sunrisers Hyderabad and hosts Mumbai Indians.
Both sides kept losing wickets at regular intervals, as the bowlers dominated the match. It was the Sunrisers Hyderabad who trumped the hosts by a margin of 31 runs, after setting a meagre total of 118.

It is now the second-lowest total defended by any team in the IPL, even without the services of injured Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
The tone of the match was set up by McClenaghan and Mayank Markande earlier, along with Hardik Pandya in the middle overs.

While receiving his second man of the match accolade in the tournament, Rashid Khan was all in praises for members of the coaching staff.
“Thanks to almighty. It feels quite good and comes back after a loss. We get to learn a lot of things from the coaching staff. They keep motivating me. They ask me to stay relaxed,” Rashid Khan told Simon Doull during the post-match presentation.
Rashid Khan also received the accolade for his spell against Mumbai Indians earlier, where he bowled 18 dot balls.
“That’s what brings the best out of me. Whatever you do, you have to stay relaxed and stick to your basics. We win or lose, the management has always kept us in good positive space,” concluded Rashid Khan.
