In order to rely on the promising slow-bowling prospect, the 27-year-old leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is the first-choice option Royal Challengers Bangalore would be looking for.

Being on a role for India with the white-ball in limited-overs cricket in the contemporary time, Chahal has been giving his best in the T20 format to go from strength to strength owing to his accuracy as a skilful bowler.

The impressive slow bowler Chahal had a good time while playing for Bangalore in the previous edition, as the tenth edition saw him claiming 14 wickets in 13 matches at an average of 23.78.

In 56 IPL fixtures, Chahal bagged 70 wickets at an average of 22.41. He has also claimed a solitary four-wicket haul which came in the ninth edition of the IPL.

Moreover, as the wrist-spinners are said to be aggressive in approach, RCB would highly-likely be relying on Chahal to lead the spin-spearhead which is all important in the middle-orders to take the pace off from the ball.
