4. 242/6, Kolkata Knight Riders vs Kings XI Punjab, 2018
At the fourth spot, it is Kolkata Knight Riders who registered their highest total in IPL 2018 against Kings XI Punjab at the Holkar stadium in Indore. Riding on the early exploits of Sunil Narine, and the late blitz from captain Dinesh Karthik and Andre Russell, KKR hammered 245/6 in their 20 overs, which is also their highest team total in the tournaments history.

Finalists for the first season have played some scintillating encounters in the past and have entertained the fans. One such match was in 2010 when CSK scored their highest ever team total at the Chepauk. CSK won the toss and chose to bat first and got off to a flier with Matthew Hayden and Murali Vijay starting the innings. Murali Vijay scored his first T20 hundred and scored 127.
Rajasthan in reply showed some fight and scored 223/5 in their 20 overs, losing the match by 23 runs.

The 44th match of the 2016 edition of the IPL saw two greatest batsmen of this era tear apart the Gujarat bowling line up. Both Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers went onto score hundreds. The African scored at an unbelievable strike rate of 248.
The margin of the victory was more than Gujarat Lions scored in the match as the RCB won by 144 runs.

The 31st match of the 2013 IPL saw the highest ever T20 score being scored as the West Indian giant, Chris Gayle brought a Gayle Storm to the Chinnaswamy stadium. Gayle also scored the highest ever individual score in a T20 match as he scored 175 runs. Gayle’s innings included 17 sixes and 16 fours as he remained unbeaten after playing just 66 balls.
Pune Warriors scored 133/9 and lost the match by 130 runs.
