Mayank Markande was successful in bamboozling the best players in the tournament. However, the 20-year old leg-spinner lost his steam in the end phase of the tournament.

Mumbai Indians spinner scalped 15 wickets in the 14 matches he played in the season. The spinner from Punjab conceded his runs at an economy of 8.36.

It was a great opportunity for Mayank Markande to showcase his skills in the tournament. This was the first time Mayank Markande was playing in the IPL. Consequently, he was able to do a fine job for the Mumbai Indians.
