KKR’s Nitish Rana was able to repeat his previous year pattern. The southpaw batsman did a fine job for the Mumbai Indians in the 2017 edition in the first half. Rana followed the same path for the Kolkata Knight Riders in this season of the IPL as his performance in the first half was impressive. However, his batting faded away in the second half of the tournament.

The left-hander scored 304 runs in the 15 matches he played in the season. KKR middle-order batsman scored a solitary half-century in the IPL 2018. Furthermore, Rana was also able to chip in as a part-time spinner.
