The Dispute surrounding the Cauvery Water had been a significant reason behind the chaos in the state of Tamil Nadu.

Very recently, Tamil Nadu star Rajnikanth urged the game of Indian Premier League to get shifted out of Chennai. He further called the spectators and players to wear black armbands to show protest for the never-ending issue.

The situation has currently worsened in the state of Tamil Nadu after a particular name of Tamizhaga Vazhvurimai Katchi (TVK) has emerged as a potential threat to stop today’s match between the Chennai Super Kings and the Kolkata Knight Riders.

They have threatened to let loose snakes inside the stadium if the match is held as per schedule today at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

They have taken the required precautionary measures to host the match in a calm demeanour. Hence the authorities have put forward some stiff restrictions ahead of the game.

As per laws for today’s game, a spectator cannot carry any electronic types of equipment including laptops, mobile phones, remote-controlled cars or any forms of bags inside the stadium.

The restrictions were put into effect in the wake of the threats of stopping the match. Around 4,000 spectators will be present there in the stadium to ensure that the conduct of the match goes on smoothly.

The fans of Chennai had missed the opportunity to see the two-time champions play for the last couple of years. They suffered a suspension following match-fixing scandals by their owners.

The Chennai crowd without a doubt will be eager to see Mahendra Singh Dhoni going out for the coin toss in the yellow jersey.
