IPL 2018: Want to Dedicate this Knock to My Friends’ Ailing Son’ – Rashid Khan
The Sunrisers continued to show who the boss is at Hyderabad, as they won their second match of the tournament in yet another nail-biting finish.
Hyderabad’s bowling dominated again, as Rashid Khan stood apart by extremely economical figures. Shikhar Dhawan was looking all set to chase down the score with his breezy knock also.
However, the game saw a massive turnaround in the end with a major collapse from SRH, initiated by the spell from Markande who continued to kill big names in the tournament.

SRH managed to keep it together until the last wicket of Stanlake. Deepak Hooda anchored the chase with his knock.
It was Rashid Khan who was adjudged as the man of the match for his sensational spell of bowling which had whopping 18 dot balls included in it.

“Dot balls is crucial in such a short format. That was the plan to bowl as many dot balls as possible. That was the message from the management to go and enjoy yourself, that’s what I did” Rashid said during the press conference.
“I just try my best to bowl in good length area and mix it up for the batsman. As he’s in his stance, I can see where he’s trying to hit. Love to bowl both, the leg-spinner and the googly,” Rashid continued.
“People back home love the fact that Afghanistan players are playing here. We want to see their smiling faces because what’s happening there is not so good. That’s what all of us are striving for. Want to dedicate this win to my friend whose son is in the hospital. Everything will go to him,” concluded an emotional Rashid Khan.
