The English wicket-keeper batsmen have been in the form of his life in the last few months. His exploits with the bat has enabled England to become the No 1 side in the 50 overs format. His exceptional strokeplay makes him a terrific option for any captain at the top of the order.
Last year it was Rajasthan Royals’ decision to send him to open the innings midway through the tournament. After his elevation, the fate of Rajasthan Royals changed totally as they stormed into the playoffs. Buttler smashed 6 consecutive fifties which is still a record. He will look to continue his exceptional touch in the upcoming edition of the IPL.
