Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Dinesh Karthik has clear the doubt surrounding the participation of Andre Russell in tomorrow’s game against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. The wicket-keeper batsman said that Russell is definitely in their plan for tomorrow’s match. The availability of Andre Russell came under cloud after he was hit by a bouncer on his left shoulder during a practice session on Wednesday. It was the same shoulder where he got hit by a Harshal Patel beamer earlier in the tournament.
Andre Russell has been an integral part of the KKR squad and has been a match winner for them in this season so far. He has been highly consistent and his strike his six-hitting prowess has taken his franchise to at least a couple of victories from literally hopeless situations. He will be vital to KKR’s chances tomorrow if they harbour hopes of breaking their three-match losing streak.

After getting hit on the shoulder, Andre Russell was in immediate discomfort and the support staff was seen rushing to the field. Closed sources have revealed that Russell hasn’t suffered a fracture. However, it is not quite sure whether he will be available for tomorrow’s clash against the struggling Royal Challengers Bangalore.
In a recent post shared by KKR on their twitter handle, they have revealed the current condition of Andre Russell and his probabilities to being part of the Playing XI tomorrow. There is certainly no doubt about the fact Russell is a huge player for KKR. However, they will look to manage his workload and won’t risk him until he is 100% fit.
"He went for a preliminary x-ray yesterday. To be fair, it has not even been 24 hours since the incident. We are monitoring him." ?

Meanwhile coming to Royal Challengers Bangalore, they are currently at the bottom of the points table with just a solitary victory from 8 matches. After a victory against the Kings XI Punjab, they fell of the radar yet again and lost their previous clash against the Mumbai Indians. A loss tomorrow will more or less put RCB out of the competition. They have to win all their remaining 6 games to have any hopes of qualifying for the final.
