IPL 2019: Ben Stokes Reveals His Favourite Young Indian Batsmen
England all-rounder Ben Stokes is currently in India plying his trade for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The cash-rich league has over the years produced some exciting Indian young talents who have gone on to represent the Indian team. Stokes recently in a tweet revealed his favourite young Indian talents to watch out in the future.
Rajasthan Royals have strived for consistency in this edition of the IPL. The stars have failed to provide consistency which has hurt the team’s chances. Ben Stokes has done a fair job but has failed to contribute to the team’s success with both bat and ball. Stokes will also look to use this platform to prepare himself for the ICC World Cup in his country.
Stokes picks his favourite young talent
IPL have produced a number of young cricketers who have played at the international stages. It is an uphill task to pick promising cricketers in these leagues but Ben Stokes has done the tough job. He has chosen Prithvi Shaw, Sanju Samson and Rahul Tripathi as the most promising youngsters in the tournament. He also urged his followers to look out for them in the near future.

While Prithvi Shaw is featuring for Delhi Capitals, Sanju Samson and Rahul Tripathi is Ben Stokes’ teammate at the Rajasthan Royals. Samson scored the first century of this season and impressed with his delightful batting for the Royals. Rahul Tripathi is yet to showcase his talent in this edition but proved his ability in the 2017 version of the league for the Rising Pune Supergiant.
On the other hand, Prithvi Shaw played an outstanding knock against the Kolkata Knight Riders. Although he missed the century by a whisker but has already grabbed eyeballs of the fans. However, it is still the early days of the tournament and many more will come up the ranks.
