The brilliant run of form continues for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League 2019. They thrashed Kolkata Knight Riders with ease to seal those two crucial points and sit at top of the points table. Deepak Chahar and spinners are the stars for MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings.
The bowling effort of Deepak Chahar and the spinners in the starting overs is the turning point of the match. With the top-order of Kolkata being knocked out for cheap scores, KKR never got that flow in their innings to sit on the driver seat.
It is slightly difficult for us to get the combination – MS Dhoni
Speaking after the victory, MS Dhoni highlighted the impact of Dwayne Bravo’s absence for the team. He feels that it would be difficult for them to find the balance in the side. However, he is happy with the performance of the spinners.

”I have been here for a long time. The crowd loves CSK. It is a special connection and they have adopted me. Losing Bravo, it is slightly difficult for us to get the combination. I don’t think we want to be playing on these tracks. It becomes too low scoring,” he said.
On Harbhajan Singh:
Further, he went on to speak on Harbhajan Singh, who delivered goods for the team. Dhoni feels that the age is on Harbhajan side, which would make them deliver goods for the team.

”The age is on their side. Bhajji has done well in whatever games he has played.”
On Imran Tahir:
And also, MS Dhoni lauded Imran Tahir for his consistency in the tournament. He feels that the Proteas star did the job for the team so far for the team. Dhoni showers words of praise on Tahir for his brilliant line and lengths.

”I have fallen back on Tahir and he has done the job. He has confidence in me. He has got a very good flipper. He is someone who if you tell that this is the right pace to bowl on, he does it most of the times. I feel its important not to have the same plans for batters.”
However, as MS Dhoni said, it was a clinical performance from Chennai Super Kings. Now, they will take their flight to Jaipur to lock horns with Rajasthan Royals on Thursday. Currently, they are at the top of the points table.
