ToggleEven after bagging the best of the squads for their team, Royal Challengers Bangalore has been unable to win any of the IPL titles. Since the opening of the season this year, RCB has not been able to open its account and has lost all the four matches they have played. The last match they lost against Sunrisers Hyderabad even irked their captain as well, who called it as their worst performance till now. They have the best of the batting order, but they seemingly failed to have good bowlers to add to their charm.
Apart from Yuzvendra Chahal, not a single bowler has been able to put a stop at the crucial moments of the game. Even though they have Umesh Yadav with them, his magic has not veiled in wickets for the team till now. Here’s is the list of the top five players that RCB is likely to drop in the next season.
Shimron Hetmyer :

The West Indies southpaw was the prized buy at the IPL auction this year. With a total of 14 runs in the three matches, Shimron Hetmyer has not yet proved his worth. In the months prior to IPL season, he was the shining star.
Even so, his performances have not been up to the mark for RCB to be able to snatch even a single match. This has made him replaceable, especially with the players like Marcus Stoinis in the team now.
Moeen Ali :

Moeen was supposed to be the star performer for RCB. He has always faced problems while playing outside England even with the spin-friendly pitches. RCB gambled while picking him based on his winning knock of 64 runs for RCB last year.
This year, though, Moeen has been a great disappointment with his maximum score of 18 runs in the last match against Rajasthan Royals. In four matches Moeen has been able to pick just one wicket. If he doesn’t turn around the tables for RCB in the upcoming matches, he is likely to be lifted out of the squad.
Shivam Dube :

Famous for his five sixes in five balls, the all-rounder Shivam was picked up by RCB this year for a whopping amount of INR five crores. The team had big hopes of strengthening their middle order batting with him in the squad. But much to the team’s disappointment, he hasn’t scored more than 10 runs in any of the last three matches. Though he might get another chance, given his past performances.
Colin De Grandhomme :

The right-hand explosive all-rounder has not yet shown his remarkable performance for the team as of yet. He was even tagged as the ‘Loose opener’ of the season for just four runs in the first match on the 23rd March against CSK. So far, he is struggling to put up a fight. Furthermore, Colin de Grandhomme hasn’t also impressed with the ball.
Mohammed Siraj :

The young Indian pacer, Siraj was Kohli’s go-to death bowler who helped RCB get 11 wickets last season. This ensured his comeback in the team for IPL 2019. But so far he has leaked more runs at an expensive economy rate. His economy rate has been around 9.50 in almost all the matches so far. RCB definitely needs to take hold on to the runs being given away from their side.
