Perhaps, it was the day that Rishabh Pant is waiting for a long time in the recent past, especially, after the announcement of the ICC World Cup 2019 squad. He whacked those balls out of the park with ease to make things fall in place for Delhi Capitals against Rajasthan Royals at Jaipur.
After the first game in the tournament, Rishabh Pant never showed his charisma for the team. However, last night, against Rajasthan, he whacked an unbeaten 78 runs off 36 balls to see his crossing the ropes with ease. Meanwhile, the former cricketer Aakash Chopra makes his voice on the stunning knock of Rishabh.

Rishabh Pant smashed 78 runs off 36 balls:
First, he took a dig at the bails, which is failing to get dislodged even at the pace of Jofra Archer. He termed that Rishabh’s slippery hands are as strong as the bails on those LED stumps. Then, on a serious note, he hailed the talent of Pant and quoted that the Indian team will miss his services in the World Cup.
Digging into his tweet, it read ”Pant can do with a little bit of whatever is sticking the bails to the stumps….slippery hands. On a serious note—a serious X Factor. And yes, India will miss him in the World Cup.”

Ahead of the squad announcement, there was a stiff competition between Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik for the second wicketkeeper, however, in the end, it was Dinesh Karthik, who got the nod to travel England. At one stage, it is also believed that the team would go with the fourth seamer, as KL Rahul can do the job.
