IPL 2019: Jasprit Bumrah is the Best Death Bowler in the World – Quinton de Kock

Mumbai Indians wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock is all praise for his teammate, Jasprit Bumrah. De Kock has stated that Jasprit Bumrah is one of the best death bowlers in the world. It is well known that Bumrah is one of the best in the business if we talk about the death bowling.

Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah generally hits the bullseye when he comes on to bowl in the fag end of an innings. Bumrah has an accurate yorker in his armoury and he is right on the money on most of the occasions. In fact, Bumrah has brisk pace under his belt which helps him in breathing down of the batsmen.

Bumrah is one of the best in the business.

On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah had suffered a scare of an injury in the first match against Delhi Capitals. Bumrah had injured his shoulder and didn’t come out to bat. However, he has recuperated and he is expected to be part of the second match against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

“It is safe to say that we have a couple of best bowlers in the world, especially Bumrah. He is one of the best death bowlers in the world. I have seen lots of him and played against him. It’s all right to be off the mark in one game, but you know that he is going to come back strong. And, a couple of guys like Hardik (Pandya) and Mitch (McClenaghan) are top bowlers,” Quinton de Kock said in the pre-match press conference.

On the other hand, Quinton de Kock watched the blistering knock of Rishabh Pant from behind the stumps. Subsequently, the Proteas stumper was all praise for India’s young talent who had blasted 78 off just 27 balls in the first match.

Pant was on fire in the first match.

“I have played with Rishabh. To play an innings like that at the death. it’s quite something to watch. He is capable of doing that quite often. He has a lot of power and a lot of shots. He is a strong boy. I only see good coming out of him. I think he is going to be good investment for India one day,” he added.

Meanwhile, Quinton de Kock had got off to a good start in the first match against Delhi Capitals. However, the southpaw batsman could not make a substantial score. Consequently, the left-hander who is in fine form will like to be at the top of his game against his former franchise – Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Royal Challengers Bangalore will host Mumbai Indians in the eighth match of the season today at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium. Both teams had lost their respective opening match and would like to make a solid comeback.
