IPL 2019: Kane Williamson and Martin Guptill Will Join Us on 22nd March Says Sunrisers Hyderabad
The 12th edition of the Indian Premier League is just around the corner and runners-up from the last year Sunrisers Hyderabad will look to come back stronger this season and win the title for the 2nd time in their history. Meanwhile, the skipper of the franchise Kane Williamson will undoubtedly be one of the main players for the team. He led them admirably in the previous season and took them to the final of the tournament.
Along with Kane Williamson, his Kiwi teammate Martin Guptill will also be an important member for the Sunrisers Hyderabad this year. Both the players are in New Zealand and haven’t joined the Sunrisers Hyderabad squad yet. However, the franchise has cleared the doubts surrounding the two players. They revealed that the duo will join the team on 22nd March after the New Zealand Cricket Awards.
Taking to their twitter handle, Sunrisers Hyderabad wrote, We know you’ve been wondering when Kane Williamson & @Martyguptill will join the #RiserCamp! Well, we don’t like keeping our #OrangeArmy in the dark. They’ll be joining us on the 22nd after the New Zealand Cricket Awards. So sit tight guys!

Sunrisers Hyderabad was one of the best teams in the previous edition of the tournament. They finished as the top-ranked side in the League stages. They were by far the most consistent team in the tournament during the league phase. They suffered a few hiccups towards the end of the league stage. However, by then they had already qualified for the playoffs.
They lost the Qualifier 1 match against the Chennai Super Kings from a winning position. Rashid Khan had a spun a web during the initial part of the Chennai innings. However, it was a great comeback by Chennai towards the end as Faf du Plessis scripted a sensational victory for them. In the final, it was a special knock from the blade of Shane Watson which did the job for Chennai.
Sunrisers Hyderabad has a sensational bowling line-up and should look to qualify for the playoffs if not win the season this year. The return of David Warner will definitely bolster the team and he will definitely look to get the franchise off to a flying start on a consistent basis.
