The second fixture of an entertaining Saturday with witness Delhi Capitals (DC) clash against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi. The home side will be desperate to stop the winning run of the Kolkata-based side who has got off to a good start with two wins from two games in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL).

Challenge to stop Russell

Meanwhile, for Delhi, the main challenge will be to stop Andre Russell – who has started the tournament on the fifth gear. The big Jamaican has single-handedly won Kolkata two games and is gearing up for the third tie. Moreover, the team looks over-dependent on Rishabh Pant and the management needs to work on it. The likes of Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer have been in form but has looked too slow. Dhawan has scored runs with a strike-rate of below 100 and soon needs to up his game.

The bowling, on the other hand, has looked strong which will receive a massive boost with the inclusion of Chris Morris. The South African all-rounder is capable of contributing in all the department and will look to use this platform to gear up for the World Cup. Also, the likes of Kagiso Rabada, Amit Mishra, and Ishant Sharma have done a good job and will hope to get some support from the batters.

On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders will only hope to keep up the good work. They have started the tournament on a high and need to carry the momentum. The likes of Nitish Rana and Robin Uthappa has hit the form early in the tournament and will only hope for Chris Lynn to hit the strides. The bowling also looks strong with the spin department doing a great job well backed by Lockie Ferguson-led pace battery.
