IPL 2019, Match 12 – Chennai Super Kings vs Rajasthan Royals – Toss Report
Mar 31, 2019 at 7:40 PM
Rajasthan Royals won the toss and elected to field first against Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai in the twelfth game of this year’s Indian Premier League.
Here is what the captains said:
Ajinkya Rahane:
“We’ll bowl first. Not sure about the wicket but I think dew might come in later. Chennai is a very strong batting line up and we’ll look to bowl well up front to them. We are playing with the same XI.”
MS Dhoni:
By 8 O’Clock the dew already starts coming down, although it will keep getting heavier. I am not saying it will not make a difference, but it does even out a bit. Just the one change – Mitchell Santner comes in place of Harbhajan Singh.
Preview:
Both the teams have made contrasting start to this season. While defending champions Chennai Super Kings have won two games in a row, the Royals have lost both their opening games. With the current form in Chennai Super Kings’s favour, they definitely start the game as favourites. However, the Super Kings should guard against complacency against a team which has the likes of Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, Ben Stokes and other big names.
