IPL 2019, Match 42, RCB vs KXIP – Toss Report

The 42nd match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) will witness two of India’s most animated skipper clash against each other when Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) takes on Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Meanwhile, the tournament is nearing a stage where every game is changing the table and making the qualification scenario more complicated.

Meanwhile, Bangalore have scripted a turnaround with three wins from four games after losing the first six games. As per the current scenario, Royal Challengers Bangalore have to win each of their remaining four games to have a slight sniff in with 14 points. The arrival of Dale Steyn has provided a leader in the bowling department which has helped the Virat Kohli-led side a world of good. And with Kohli & AB de Villiers in form, Bangalore will look to keep the winning run going.

On the other hand, Kings XI Punjab will look to have star spinner Mujeeb-ur-Rahman back in the playing XI. They will hope their opening pair – Chris Gayle and KL Rahul get them off to a flier with a quality middle-order to follow. The bowling has also done decently with Mohammed Shami doing a terrific job. Skipper Ravichandran Ashwin will have the job to contain runs in the middle-order where Royal Challengers Bangalore tried to capitalise.
