MS Dhoni recorded his second highest score in the history of IPL with an innings of 75* against Rajasthan Royals. His 75* came off just 46 balls, that included four sixes as well.
However, he enjoyed his fair share of luck during his heroic knock as in the sixth over of CSK’s innings, the batsman could have been dismissed but the bails refused to come down even after the ball made a contact with the stumps.
It was sixth over of CSK’s innings when an inside edge off MS Dhoni’s bat came back towards the stumps.

It did make a contact with the stumps but bails did not fall.
Despite the ball making a contact with the stumps, Dhoni stayed on the crease as it is necessary for the bails to fall down.
The fielders seemed to super excited with the ball touching the stumps but that chance went in Dhoni’s favour.
His knock saw Chennai Super Kings make a comeback as he came out to bat when the home side was three own for 27.
He first shared 51 runs for fourth wicket with Suresh Raina (36 off 32) and then changed his batting gears towards the end of the first innings.
He was well supported by Dwayne Bravo, whose’s knock of 27 off 16 eased off pressure off Dhoni.
In the final over of the game, Dhoni hit Jaydev Unadkat for three sixes, that saw hosts putting a big total of 175/5 on the board.
It was a combined effort from the middle-order of CSK that was guided by Dhoni, which helped the three-time champions put a big total on the board.
Rajasthan Royals did not have a good start to their innings in the case.
