IPL 2019: Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kings XI Punjab Engage in ‘Kuch Bhi’ Discussion
Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab tried to pull each other’s leg on Twitter. Kings XI Punjab took to their handle to post they are awarding a ‘Kuch Bhi’ award to Virat Kohli for his reaction after taking Ravichandran Ashwin‘s catch. Consequently, Royal Challengers Bangalore twitter handler commented on the post, ‘Kuch Bhi’ to take a dig at Kings XI Punjab.
Meanwhile, it was the 42nd match of the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League which was played between KXIP and RCB. Royal Challengers Bangalore had won that contest by 17 runs after they had posted 202 runs thanks to a brilliant knock of 82 runs from AB de Villiers.
Kohli and Ashwin both like to take the bull by its horns.
Subsequently, Ashwin’s catch was taken by Virat Kohli and as usual, the Royal Challengers Bangalore captain had taunted Ashwin for his mankading dismissal.
In fact, earlier in the innings, Ravichandran Ashwin had given a send-off to Royal Challengers Bangalore captain. Thus, Virat Kohli decided to return the favour and mock Ashwin.
Ashwin had also reacted to Virat Kohli’s taunt as he had said that Kohli and he both plays with passion and thus they was a heated argument in the field.
RCB is out of the IPL 2019.
Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore are knocked out of the ongoing season. They lost their eighth match of the season while playing against Delhi Capitals earlier in the day. On the other hand, Kings XI Punjab is still in contention of making the playoff stages. Punjab will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on 29th April.
Kings XI Punjab took to Twitter to take a dig at Virat Kohli and Royal Challengers Bangalore. The post read as, “Virat Kohli’s gesture after taking our skipper Ashwin’s catch has earned himself a Kuch Bhi Award from us. Find out which one”.
