Rajasthan Royals’ brand ambassador Shane Warne has made a bold prediction before the start of IPL 2019. As per the former Australian spinner, it will be Sanju Samson who will end up as the player of the tournament when IPL 2019 will end.
In an Instagram post, Shane Warne first revealed that he has landed in India for the upcoming season of the tournament and then gave his prediction.
Talking of Sanju Samson’s performance, the youngster from Kerala is one of the players who earned praise by doing well in IPL and he also made it to the Indian team in 2014 on the basis of his performances in the league.

Making his IPL debut for Rajasthan Royals in 2013, Samson made 206 runs in his first season with the team.
He earned praises from all corners and was also retained by the franchise before IPL 2014 auction. He played for them till 2015 before the franchise got banned for two years.
In mega-auction for IPL 2018, Rajasthan Royals again showed their interest in Samson and bought him for a huge price of Rs 8 Crore.

Last season, Samson was again one of the top run-scorers in the league as he amassed 441 runs at 31.50 with a strike-rate of 137.81.
He will be one of the players to watch out for in IPL but whether he would end up as the Player of the tournament or not will be the one thing to see.
Rajasthan Royals have already started preparing for the tournament as they recently conducted their second session before IPL 2019.
Now when Warne has landed in India, the preparations will go in full flow soon.
Last season as well, he was associated with the team but in the role of mentor.
He also went back home for 10 days during IPL for vacation but this time, he is expected to be with the team for a full tournament.
Along with Warne, Paddy Upton (head coach), Amol Muzumdar (batting coach), Sairaj Bahutule (spin bowling coach) and Dishant Yagnik (fielding coach) are some other members of the coaching staff.
Prior to the start of the tournament, the fitness of Ajinkya Rahane remains to be a concern for the team.
He is not a part of Mumbai squad for ongoing super league of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy but he is expected to be fit soon.
