Former Australian international cricketer Shane Watson has been appreciated for his passionate batting in IPL 2019 final with his bloodied knee. Recently, he has brought great news for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fans.

Shane Watson played decent cricket in recently concluded IPL 2019. The right-handed batsman was the second most run-scorer for CSK in this IPL season. While CSK participated in this IPL season as the defending champions, they faced Mumbai Indians (MI) in the final of this tournament. After MI managed to score 149/8 (20 overs) in the first innings of that final, CSK opener Shane Watson provided a decent start.

However, the other CSK batsmen failed to perform in that crucial match. Only Watson fought almost single-handedly to chase that target. The right-handed opening batsman scored 80 runs off 59 balls before losing his wicket through a run-out in the last over. In the end, CSK managed to score 148/7 in 20 overs as they lost that final by just one run.
