IPL 2019: Twitter Reacts as CSK Cruises to Convincing Win
CSK won the 41st match of IPL 2019 against SRH by six wickets. Chennai Super Kings were given a decent target of 176 by Sunrisers Hyderabad after MS Dhoni won the toss and decided to bowl. The visitors could not get off to a good start as they lost Jonny Bairstow early. Bairstow was dismissed for a duck and ended his sublime season on a bad note.
Meanwhile, David Warner and Manish Pandey were able to post a fine alliance of 115 runs. Pandey who got back into the playing XI was also able to get back into form. The right-hander completed his 13th IPL fifty off just 25 balls. Pandey scored a fine knock 83 runs from 49 balls with the help of seven fours and three maximums.

On the other hand, David Warner continued his good form going. Warner completed his 43rd IPL fifty but soon got stumped by MS Dhoni. However, SRH could add the finishing touches as they scored only 39 runs in the final five overs. Vijay Shankar scored 26 runs from 20 balls with the help of two fours and one six.
Harbhajan Singh was the pick of the bowlers for the defending champions as the veteran spinner scalped two wickets and conceded 39 runs in his four overs.
Watson roared back to form.
On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings could not get off to a good start. The first two overs produced only two runs. Furthermore, Faf du Plessis got run-out when he attempted to steal a single.
However, Suresh Raina was able to hit the ground running. Raina played a fine off-drive of the first ball he faced. Moreover, the left-hander showed signs of returning back to form as he smashed Sandeep Sharma for four overs and a six in one over.
Meanwhile, CSK opener Shane Watson who scored only three runs off first nine balls was able to change gears. The talisman batsman scored his maiden fifty of the ongoing season off just 35 balls. The right-hander could not complete his hundred but scored a fine knock of 96 runs off just 53 balls with the help of nine fours and six sixes
