Sunrisers Hyderabad obliterated Kings XI Punjab by a huge margin of 45 runs in the 48th match of the IPL 2019. Hyderabad posted a huge score of 212 runs after Ravichandran Ashwin won the toss and decided to bowl first. David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha provided a fine platform for the hosts as they added 78 runs for the opening stand.
Saha scored a 13-ball 28 with the help of three fours and one six. Warner and Saha added 77 runs in the powerplay overs to give a flying start to their team. David Warner, who was playing his last innings of the season, came up with another fine performance.

SRH were too good.
Warner continued his penchant for the Kings XI Punjab bowlers as he scored his eighth fifty against Punjab on the trot. The southpaw batsman completed his 44th IPL fifty as he ended the season with 692 runs in the season.
Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Kane Williamson scored 14 runs from seven balls whereas Mohammed Nabi scored a quickfire knock of 20 runs from 10 balls to apply the finishing touches to the side. Thus, Hyderabad was able to post a mammoth score of 212.
On the other hand, Ravichandran Ashwin was the pick of the Punjab bowlers as the skipper took two wickets and conceded only 30 runs in his four overs quota.

Meanwhile, Kings XI Punjab could not get off to a good start as they lost early wicket of Chris Gayle who scored four runs. Mayank Agarwal scored 27 runs from 18 balls but found Vijay Shankar at mid-wicket when he attempted a slog sweep.
Furthermore, David Miller continued his dismal form going as he scored run-a-ball knock of 11 runs. Moreover, KL Rahul took his time in the initial phase and then changed gears towards the fag end of the innings.
However, Sunrisers Hyderabad always had enough runs in the bank and Rahul found himself to be a sole warrior in Kings XI Punjab’s run-chase.
Here is how Twitter reacted to Sunrisers Hyderabad’s win:
Can't blame KL alone but he was too slow in PP, something that has cost KXIP. But plenty else wrong with them. Changes, Plans, Miller not performing

#SRHvKXIP only one person to blame for KXIP downfall is Ravi ashwin, he is another nehraji on the field, too much pressure on bowlers and poor team selection.

Hahaha. Khaleel gives his captain a kiss on his head after Williamson pulls off a stunning catch. Warner laughing his head off ??? Too sweet.

Meanwhile, David Warner is having an affair with the fifties in IPL. He slams his eighth of this edition. What a bloke. #SRHvKXIP #IPL2019

KL Rahul is getting runs at the tail end of the innings but, in all fairness, his side would have liked a lot more from him earlier. Was 39(36). The runs would have counted for much more then.

Had he stayed the full season he could have scored the 1000 runs he had set out to achieve at the start of the competition. Well played @davidwarner31 and this will mean a lot to @CandyFalzon back home. @SunRisers

Warner is undoubtedly the GOAT of #IPL. What consistency without compromising the Strike Rate!!! Century to sign off this season?? #SRHvKXIP

David Warner could have easily just decided to chill for this run-chase after his innings earlier. Instead he has put in his 100% in the field, diving around the boundary like a mad-man with the match in the bag. No wonder the Hyderabad crowd adores him. #IPL2019 #SRHvKXIP
