IPL 2019: Watch – Fan Breaches Security to Meet Virat Kohli
One of million die-hard fans of Virat Kohli breached the security to meet his idol during the Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore match, which the latter won by seven wickets. The fan was taken away by the officials after he met Virat Kohli at the non-striker’s end. In fact, we have seen on multiple occasions that fans have breached the security to meet their favourite players.
We had seen in the past that fans have greeted their favourite players with the utmost respect. In the past as well, fans have met and have often bowed down to them.
Virat Kohli will like to continue his good form.
Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore were able to savour their maiden win of the ongoing season. Bangalore was finally able to tick the right boxes as they came up with a complete performance.
Virat Kohli had won the toss and decided to bowl first. The RCB bowlers were able to restrict Kings XI Punjab to 173 runs, which were 15-20 runs short of the par score.
Chris Gayle had scored a fine knock of 99 runs from 64 balls with the help of 10 fours and five sixes. However, Kings XI Punjab middle-order were not able to add the finishing touches.
Moeen Ali was the pick of the bowlers as the off-spinner scalped one wicket and conceded only 19 runs in his four overs quota. Furthermore, Yuzvendra Chahal, who has been the pick of RCB bowlers, scalped two wickets and gave away 33 runs in his allotted four overs.
Subsequently, Virat Kohli batted at the top of his game and scored a fine knock of 67 runs. Kohli and AB de Villiers added an alliance of 87 runs. AB de Villiers also played a fine knock of 59 runs and he was awarded the Man of the match for his innings. Marcus Stoinis had also provided the finishing touches as he scored a fine knock of 28 runs off just 16 balls.
