IPL 2019: Watch: MS Dhoni Buries The Hatchet After Outburst, Gives Tips To Rajasthan Royals Players
Match 25 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) saw many heated exchanges at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Meanwhile, there is a saying which says ‘all well that’s end well’. At the end of an intense encounter, MS Dhoni shared some of his knowledge with the young cricketers of Rajasthan Royals (RR).
Batting first, Ajinkya Rahane and Jos Buttler got Rajasthan off to a good start. But once Rahane and Buttler got out, runs dried up from both ends as Chennai Super Kings bowler spread their dominance over the game. Just when Steven Smith and Rahul Tripathi started to bail the ship, Ravindra Jadeja removed both of them to halt the run-scoring. But a patient knock from Ben Stokes and 18 runs from the last over helped them post 151 runs on the board.
Chennai strengthen their lead
What seemed to be an easy task for the Chennai Super Kings at the start turned in a span of few overs. Rajasthan Royals bowlers made a great start to have the defending champions at 24 for four at the end of the powerplays. But a timely partnership from MS Dhoni and Ambati Rayudu almost took them home before Ravindra Jadeja, and Mitchell Santner finished things off in style. Meanwhile, the last over witnessed an unexpected turn of events when MS Dhoni lost his cool and charged towards the umpires from the dugout. This incident attracted a lot of criticism which is against Dhoni’s usual self.
However, things were all okay once the match ended and MS Dhoni was seen sharing words of wisdom with the young cricketers of Rajasthan Royals. He also had a chat with former teammate Ajinkya Rahane at the end of the game. Moreover, Imran Tahir also was seen teaching the art of leg-spin bowling to Shreyas Gopal. This was a beautiful sight, and the game should always act as a medium to bring people closer rather than to spread venom.
