Chris Lynn was at his best.
Chris Lynn said while talking in the innings break, “We have got 160 on the board, so we need early wickets. I thought the wicket was two-paced earlier but it got better later. We lost wickets and that stopped the momentum. We need to get two or three wickets in the powerplay, you never know. We need to hit the top of the stumps, Chennai gave us a bit of width in the early overs”.
Chris Lynn has thus far scored 212 runs in the ongoing season. The Australian power-hitter had missed the previous match as he was suffering from the flu. In fact, Lynn had scored a fine fifty against Rajasthan Royals which had helped his team in winning the match by eight wickets.
Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders are at the second position in the points table with four wins and three losses. In fact, the two-times champions have won lost their last two matches and they would like to get back to the winning ways.
Kolkata Knight Riders will need to get early wickets to challenge Chennai Super Kings, otherwise, the target of 162 will be a cakewalk for MS Dhoni’s side.
