It wasn’t a great day at the office for Ajinkya Rahane-led side. They lost a thriller at their home ground with a controversial moment in the game. Meanwhile, the skipper of the Rajasthan Royals doesn’t want to comment on the issue but took it sportively.
Kings XI Punjab won the game dramatically by outsmarting the home side Rajasthan Royals with their fantastic piece of death bowling. Chris Gayle was the star with the bat while bowlers delivered the goods at the death. In between, the effort of Jos Buttler went in vain.

Speaking of the match, Ajinkya Rahane quoted that the team has done pretty well in the chase, Further, he went on to add saying that the wicket of Jos Buttler has changed the complexion of the game.
When asked about the controversial moment in the match, Rahane quoted that he isn’t supposed to talk on the issue. However, they would like to take it in a sporting way.
”I thought we were batting really well. We started off well at the top and then got another good partnership. Later on we needed 39 off 4 overs and we thought that could have been done easily. But KXIP bowled really well in the last three overs. We are not supposed to comment on a controversial issue. The match referee will take the call. We will take the decision sportively,” he quoted.
Further, he praised Jofra Archer for his fantastic display of fast bowling. And also, he lauded Jos Buttler for his stunning knock, which gave the initial advantage for the team.
”When you are chasing 180 plus, someone has to go really hard. Definitely, Jofra bowled really well. He was good for us in the last season as well. Jos, we all know how dangerous he is,” Ajinkya Rahane added in the post-match press conference.
Well, Rajasthan Royals would have been on the winning side if there wasn’t the controversial moment in the game. However, it was done and dusted. Now, they will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad.
