2. Karun Nair
The 28-year-old was bought by the franchise in 2018. In the last edition, he played only one match for Kings XI Punjab, but he has been retained for the upcoming edition. Karun Nair has the experience of captaincy in the domestic side. He has led India A, Karnataka and also Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) when Zaheer Khan was injured.
He has played 69 matches in the IPL and scored 1464 runs with the strike rate of 128.53. He can be a beneficial player as the captain.
