KXIP and Miller continued their association as the franchise retained him for Rs 3 Crore by the use of RTM card in IPL 2018 auction. Although he has just played 13 matches in the past two seasons.
He did play 10 matches in IPL 2019 and scored 213 runs off 164 balls but does not have a guaranteed place in the playing XI. Hence, the franchise might release him as it has got many Indian batsmen in the line-up and add to it pinch-hitters Krishnappa Gowtham, who they brought in from Rajasthan Royals, and Nicholas Pooran.
