Jaydev Unadkat

The left-arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat has played for five different franchises in his ten-year of IPL career. He made debut in IPL for Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2010 season and last played for Rajasthan Royals. Nicknamed as Porbandar express, had a wonderful start in IPL.
His talent was noticed by KKR’s coach Wasim Akram who said that he was the future of the cricket. He then shifted his base to Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Daredevils, Rising Pune Supergiants as well.
The player bowled very well for Rising Pune Supergiants, where he took 24 wickets in 12 matches which raised the value of Jaydev. He was bought by Rajasthan Royals in 2018 IPL auction for Rs. 11.5 crores, as the most expensive player of the season. But he was not able to return the value in the field.
The player displayed a poor outing in the last two IPL seasons. The Saurashtra player was ineffective in IPL, but he showed satisfactory performances in domestic cricket. Rajasthan Royals showed confidence in Jayadev and was bought in IPL 2019. He picked ten wickets in 11 matches and was not able to justify the performance. While Rajasthan Royals has released him, he can remain unsold in IPL 2020 auction.
