The South African wicket-keeper batsman Heinrich Klaasen was released ahead of the IPL 2020 auction by RCB. He didn’t get much opportunity in the 2019 edition. He has played 7 IPL matches and scored 66 runs.

Klaasen hasn’t played many T20 internationals but has experienced in the franchise leagues. He is still finding a permanent place in his national team.

With the base price of 50 lakh, he went unsold in the recently concluded auction. If any overseas player gets injured or returns between the tournament, he will surely be the option.
