The battle between the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and West Indies pacer Kesrick Williams was one of the highlights of the T20I series. Kohli had the better of Williams in the first match but the pacer was able to get his vengeance in the second match at Thiruvanthapuram.
The 29-year old fast bowler showed that he is a thinking bowler. The right-arm pacer can vary his pace and bowl in the right areas to get his rewards. Williams scalped three wickets in the three matches of the T20I series and got the big wicket of Virat Kohli in the second match.
The fast bowler also showed that he can not only bowl accurately in the powerplay overs but also he can be right on the money in the death overs. Williams also snared 12 wickets in the Carribean Premier League 2019 while playing for St. Lucia Zouks.
