Here are the top five expensive buys in IPL 2020 auction
5. Nathan Coulter-Nile (Mumbai Indians) – INR 8 crore
The 32-year-old Australian right-arm fast bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile started this auction journey with the base price of INR 1 crore. While Mumbai Indians (MI) put the bid first for him, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) started their battle against their IPL rivals. That exciting battle ran for a long time, but finally, MI secured the Aussie pacer with the bid of INR 8 crore.
Nathan Coulter-Nile has some good experiences in IPL. Before the latest IPL auction, he played for MI in 2013, Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) from 2014 to 2016 and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in 2017. He has taken 36 wickets in 26 IPL matches.
