The Chennai Super Kings team and fans have good news as the star player has finally joined with the squad in training. A shaky start for the CSK team after the last team began their training post their extended quarantine after 13 squad members including two players tested positive for COVID-19. Their worries grew as veteran players Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh pulled out the campaign this season, citing personal reasons.

The team began their training on September 4 after all the members of the squad didn’t test positive for the coronavirus. They received another good news yesterday after pacer Deepak Chahar got the green light from the medical team to join his squad. Chahar had tested positive for Covid-19 and was in extra quarantine.

Once the results for those two tests are negative, the person can rejoin their respective squad. CSK took to their official twitter handle to announce Chahar was back with the squad.  They posted a picture of the speedster showing thumbs up from the training ground captioning it as: “Deeback Chahar”
