Abhishek Sharma (SRH):
The Punjab cricketer came into the picture in the 2018 IPL auction when Capitals bought him for a whopping INR 55 lakhs. Abhishek Sharma is among those players whose capabilities are overshadowed by the performances of the cricketers like Priyam Garg or Prithvi Shaw.
In the IPL 2018, the southpaw gave a glimpse of his capabilities as he smashed a 19-ball 46 to help DC defeat the Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). He played in three matches for Delhi in 2018 before he was traded off to the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) ahead of the IPL 2019. Abhishek, along with Vijay Shankar and Shahbaz Nadeem, was traded for in exchange for Shikhar Dhawan.
However, in the IPL 2019 as well, the 19-year-old cricketer got to play only three matches where he displayed the ability to turn the ball and pick a wicket. Overall, Abhishek makes a good fit for SRH as the lower-order batsman while being a left-arm spinner.
