Harshal Patel (DC):

With 43 wickets in as many matches in his seven years of IPL career, Harshal Patel makes as one of the most lethal seamers in the twenty-overs league. Ignored by Gujarat for the first-class cricket, Harshal made his debut for Haryana in 2011 and snared 28 wickets from seven games.
Harshal was roped in by the Bengaluru-based franchise ahead of the 2012 IPL season. He remained with the team most of his IPL career. Although he is yet to find a permanent spot for himself in the premier league, Harshal has upped his game by adding some excellent batting skills.
Coming in as the lower-order batsman, Harshal recently made a swashbuckling impact with the bat in the domestic T20 cricket. He amassed a total of 374 runs at a strike rate of 165 in the domestic T20 season this year.
Meanwhile, in the recently-concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, the Haryana cricketer has scalped 19 wickets in 12 games. He ended up as the third-highest wicket-taker of the tournament.
Harshal’s current form when paired with IPL experience makes him one of the terrific cricketers for the Capitals.
