Indian star allrounder Hardik Pandya’s injury has become a huge concern for Team India. The player suffered from an injury ahead of the Bangladesh home series. After which he went under successful surgery in the UK, since then he is out of action.
There were speculations that he will return to the team for the New Zealand tour. But he failed to pass a fitness Test which has led his snub from this particular tour. Now, his injury is a worrying factor in keeping mind the T20 World Cup scheduled in October, this year.
If the Mumbai Indians player remains unfit, he might also lose the place in the Indian Premier League 2020.
So, here we will discuss those three players who might replace Pandya in the Mumbai Indians’ squad:
1. Sumit Kumar:

Sumit Kumar, the young all-rounder of the Haryana cricket team, has done well in the last few days. The Haryana player has not played more home matches so far, thus, he could not find any buyers in the IPL 2020 auction.
The right-hand batsman drafted his name in IPL 2020 with a base price of 20 lakhs but no franchise showed interest in buying him. But given the young player’s recent form, it would not be wrong to say that Indians can turn to all-rounder Kumar if Hardik does not come back fit until the kick-off of the IPL.
Talking about statistics, in four first-class matches, he has scored 115 runs and picked four wickets at an average of 25.83. He has scored 342 runs and picked 23 wickets in 19 domestic T20 matches with a strike rate of 139.02.
