Also, the first-time Kohli-led RCB entered the final of the cash-rich league in 2016. That year he scored 973 runs in 16 IPL matches at an average of 81.08 with a strike rate of 152.03.
In the last two editions, he was under the top 10 in the list of the highest scorer in IPL. He is always in the race to get the orange cap.
