Being part of the cash-rich premier league since 2012, Harshal Patel does not just come in with figures under his name but also with a handful experience in the league. He had been in the mainstay bowling squad for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for five years before he was taken in by Delhi Capitals in 2018.

The Gujarat lad is another one of the lots who have the capability to both bat and bowl with the same intensity.

However, the right-handed seamer is in his prime form lately. Representing Haryana in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Patel was the joint second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament.

From 43 IPL games, Harshal has scalped 43 wickets where IPL 2015 was his best as he scalped 17 wickets, the most number of wickets that very season. Ever since then though, he has played just a couple of games yet he plucked his lot of wickets in every season.

With him being in his prime form at present, it would be no wonder if Harshal comes forth as the leading wicket-taker of the event and earns his maiden Purple Cap.
