ToggleKamlesh Nagarkoti:
The 2018 U-19 Cricket World Cup has been a memorable and historic tournament for all the cricket lovers of India. The Men in Blue not only did win the tournament, but they also defeated every opponent and became the ultimate dominating team of the coveted ICC tournament.
However, what caught everyone’s eye was the regular threatening pace of the Rajasthan speedster Kamlesh Nagarkoti, who was constantly hitting the 140kph mark. Seeing his bewitching speed in the tournament led the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to rope in the cricketer ahead of the 2018 IPL.
But, unfortunately, the injuries kept the young spearhead from playing in both the IPL 2018 and 2019 editions. Although the right-hand pacer is yet to play any game ever since the List A games in 2018, he is recovering back to his form. If he gets to make his debut appearance in this IPL season, it won’t be a big surprise if he steals the Purple Cap from a big bowler.
