CSK all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has become the first player in the history of IPL to score 2,000 runs and get 110 wickets. Jadeja achieved the feat by his 50 runs off 35 balls against SRH, in CSK’s fourth match of the IPL. However, his 50 was not enough for CSK to win the match.
Jadeja has joined Shane Watson, Kieron Pollard, and Jacques Kallis in the list of players who have achieved the feat. He has played 174 matches so far in IPL (106 for Chennai Super Kings, 27 for Gujarat Lions, 14 for Kochi Tuskers Kerala, and 27 for Rajasthan Royals).

CSK have missed Suresh Raina who had withdrawn his name from the tournament, citing personal reasons. Raina is the top scorer in IPL for CSK. They have failed to replace him in the team and have struggled majorly with their batting.
