Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh’s IPL 2020 wasn’t the most welcoming after he got injured in the first match playing for SRH — and was ruled out of the whole tournament. Marsh had just returned to the Australian white-ball team and had played an important role for them against England with both ball and bat. Cricket Australia (CA) will be hoping for him to be fit before the international summer.
He has now returned to Australia, where he is currently serving the mandatory 14-day quarantine. SunRisers Hyderabad have named the West Indies all-rounder, Jason Holder as the replacement of Mitchell Marsh.

Mitchell Marsh’s injury scans gone missing in UAE
After suffering an injury Marsh had undergone scans in the UAE for the diagnosis, which had gone missing now. Marsh told they don’t know what happened with the scans and Cricket Australia wasn’t able to get them.
“We don’t really know what happened with the scans over in the UAE. Cricket Australia haven’t been able to get their hands on them so it’s a bit of a weird situation,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket 365.

Permission required for Mitchell Marsh to undergo injury scans again
Marsh, who is serving a 14-day quarantine after travelling from UAE to Perth, Australia, will require special permission to undergo scans. It is important to get the scans at earliest, to diagnose the exact and injury and extent of rehab. The 28-year-old also faced problem finding a flight back home to Australia.
“Hopefully I’ll go for another scan at some point this week, if I can get clearance, and then we’ll be a lot clearer on what we’re dealing with,” told Mitchell Marsh.
