Kedar Devdhar:

The Gujarat-based wicketkeeper-batsman might be the third name in the list whom Capitals could take-in just in case Dhawan is unable to feature in the IPL 2020. Although Kedar Devdhar has no record of playing in the cash-rich premier league of India, he still has been a part of the Deccan Chargers (DC) in the 2011 IPL.
In the IPL 2020 auction, Devdhar did enter the auction stage with a base price of INR 20 lacs. Nevertheless, he went unsold with other big names. However, the right-handed batsman has been performing decently in domestic games.
Devdhar has played 68 T20 domestic games where he has scored a total of 1,866 runs with an approximate striking rate of 123. In his domestic T20s, Devdhar has 11 half-centuries and a century to his name. Although he has no experience of IPL, Devdhar could be of good use for the Capitals as he is also known for his wicketkeeping role.
