A total of 971 players registered their names in IPL auction among which 332 players have been shortlisted by the franchise. Well, six players have been more added to the shortlisted players’ list ahead of the IPL auction scheduled Today (19th December) at 3:30 pm. R Vinay Kumar, Ashoke Dinda, Matthew Wade, Sanjay Yadav, Robin Bist, and Jake Weatherald are the six who will be the highlight of the auction.
R Vinay Kumar is the fast bowler who started the journey in IPL since its inception. He last played in 2018 edition for Kolkata Knight Riders. The right-arm pacer has picked 105 wickets in 105 IPL matches. He can be the crucial player for the team who want to strengthen their bowling department.
Ashoke Dinda has played for Kolkata Knight Riders, Rising Pune Supergiants, Delhi Daredevils, Pune Warriors India and Royal Challengers Bangalore. The Bengal players is a pacer who has played 78 IPL matches and picked 68 wickets.
Matthew wade, Sanjay Yadav and Robin Bist have also played in the cash-rich league but have not been impactful in T20 formats. It will be interesting to see their last-minute edition will impact the auction or not.
The significant name, among these six players, is the Australian player Jake Weatherald. The 25-year-old is an uncapped player. He has impressive figures in the limited-overs format. The top-order batsman has scored 997 runs in 25 List A games with four centuries and four half-centuries.
