Chennai Super Kings stars Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni along with some other members of the team have landed in Chennai ahead of departing to the UAE for this year’s Indian Premier League. Suresh Raina confirmed the news on Instagram.

The thirteenth edition of the tournament is scheduled to be held entirely in the UAE due to the alarming coronavirus situation in the country. Earlier this month, the BCCI got the green light from the government to move the competition out of the country. IPL 2020 is scheduled to take place from September 19 to November 10.

The upcoming edition of the IPL is important for both Raina and Dhoni. Dhoni has not played a single competitive game since the end of the World Cup in July last year while Raina, who last played for India in 2018, has not played any game since last year’s IPL.
